we made it! - She Be Spittin Though

Would you look at that! We're basically at the end of the month of June and I made it through with a single crash out or succumbing to burnout! It was a tough month I will say that but we made it through.

Juneteenth went amazingly well, we gathered $425 for all 24 people involved. Which no isn't a lot of money in the grand scheme of things but considering last year I don't even thing we got more than $100 total I count that as a win. I have a few thoughts about things I wanna do for next year in terms of making things smoother and being MORE prepared but overall I am just so happy and proud of everyone.

I don't think I mentioned it in any detail before but I also did a one shot appearance on @rollwithdifficulty.bsky.social playing Mask. I got to play a little fucking menace named Alvin J. Darling and I love him. It was so much fun and actually reminded me that I do enjoy playing TTRPGs with rando's from time to time. Which is how I got into playing TTRPG's in the first place, playing one shots at conventions. I want to make more time to do that too. Maybe on streams, pre-records, or podcast but just playing in little random one off games. I can't wait for the episode to drop July 3rd for you all to meet my son. I want to expand his backstory a bit, when I do I'll post about it over on Yo! It's Me Ionie.

I also had a great time with both @beezelda.com & @urbanbohemian.com making a one shot adventure using Story Deck Engine. Again something that I know I enjoy doing (collab writing projects) that I simply haven't made more time to do and I need to. The VoDs for those two streams will be up later today (they're currently being rendered and exported now). But I also plan on taking what Bee, Brian, and I built and finishing it out into a whole little thing that can be published and shared because it was so cool and fun to make and it needs to live in more than just the VoD on YouTube. So please look forward to that.

However, that won't happen UNTIL I actually finish my other open task aka Juneteenth VoDs and the long delayed 3rd edition of It's Dangerous to Go Alone - Take This. Which no I haven't forgotten about and is almost four months late. Look time got away from me okay!

In relation to time having gotten away from me my last piece of good news to wrap this post up is ya girls getting medicated for her ADHD again finally! By this weekend in fact if the pharmacy calls me by tomorrow. Fingers crossed they can fill my order. Because that would be so amazing. Wish me good vibes!
